John earned a B.S. in Chemistry (FSU 1977) and a Ph. D. in Polymer Science and Engineering (UMASS Amherst, 1982). John spent his entire career in what is now called Kodak Analytical Sciences. John specialized in electron microscopy, image analysis, and X-ray Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy. He retired from Kodak at the end of 2017.
